President
Mr. Smith has over thirty years of experience in the landscape / maintenance
and irrigation fields. His career has involved all aspects of production,
sales and design. As an owner of HLS, Mr. Smith oversees all aspects of
contract administration and customer service, as well as provides support to
the HLS team.
DAVE WILDERMAN
Vice President of Operations
Mr. Wilderman has been active in the landscape industry for over twenty years.
His experience and personnel skills enable him to provide the leadership and
oversight necessary to provide a quality, Class A service every time. Dave
oversees all aspects of service for our Sterling location. Under Dave’s
leadership the Sterling location has enjoyed positive growth each year that he
has been a part of our team. His extensive knowledge is a great asset to all HLS
projects.
CORY LANIER
Vice President of Operations
Mr. Lanier has over twenty years of landscape management experience. Cory is a
graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in Horticulture. He oversees all
aspects of service for our Stafford office. Cory’s focus on job quality and
training has been instrumental in establishing a culture of excellent customer
service and on the job performance.

David has been active in the landscape / maintenance industry for over fifteen
years. He has a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from Virginia Tech. David
is a Certified Arborist (#MA-5947A) and Tree Risk Assessment Qualified (TRAQ).
His background and knowledge of horticulture adds a unique element to the HLS
team approach.
PATRICK SMITH
Business Development Management
Patrick is the Business Development Manager for Prince William County, Stafford
County, and Fredericksburg. He has over sixteen years of experience in the
landscape industry in all aspects of customer service, account management, and
market development. His experience extends from landscape management to
contract administration. Patrick attended George Mason University.
